Mock campaign for The GAP
Fast fashion has grown exponentially in the last decade resulting in the world’s production of 92 million tons of textile waste each year. These clothing textiles now comprise at least 7% of the total waste in global landfill space. The GAP’s latest campaign “Bridge the Gap” aims to address these issues. Bridge the Gap is a sustainable effort that will transform the classic GAP hoodie we’ve known for decades. The classic hoodie will now be customizable with fabrics and textiles that customers choose to donate. Instead of throwing away old bedsheets, pillowcases, curtains, quilts, and old clothes, you can turn those textiles into the GAP as either a donation, customization, or both. The GAP will take the textiles of your choice, either from your own donation or the donation of other customers, and produce you a hoodie with custom one-of-a-kind “GAP” lettering.
